When on a Keto diet it is important to remember that the goal is to consume as little carbohydrates as possible. Primarily this means you are consuming mostly fats and protein. Although this seems like it would be a very heavy diet to be on, it is not as hard as it seems. Being on a Keto diet means eating vegetables, meats, fish, cheese and other dairy products, eggs, and natural fats such as butter and olive oil. This variety of food choices can make so many different meals and snacks that are easy to prepare and yummy to eat. Ideally you are trying to have below and average of 50 carbs per day. By doing this your body will successful remain in Ketosis and continue to burn your fat. To successfully succeed at remaining in Ketosis you need to avoid certain foods such as fruits, breads, pastas, potatoes, candies, and any other high sugar high carb foods. This will insure that the diet works perfectly!
